RESPONSIBILITIES
- Architectural designer on residential renovation-design projects and new constructions; direct communication with customers
- Team member with interior design team to incorporate interiors component
- Daily interaction with general contractors and sub-contractors, management of the design of the construction phase on site; creative problem solving and attention to detail in the construction phase; You have the opportunity to see your work come to life!
- Must be highly skilled in Revit and/or AutoCAD
- Drafting and development of organized and detailed construction plans
- Development and monitoring/management of the project budget
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- 3+ years as an architectural designer or architect in an architectural firm; A full architect’s license is a plus
- Thorough understanding of residential construction methodologies and details – strong preference given to those with construction experience
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work in a small, fast-paced team
- Excellent communication skills, organizational skills and team spirit
- Local Boston area residents with local contacts are preferred
