Do you think we should move to a four day work week in America?
It’s a good question. This has been a long-standing debate for years and those who support the change say employees are more productive with a healthy work-life balance.
According CBSNews.comthere’s a Chick-fil-A manager taking this new theory to the next level.

His name is Justin Lindsay and he owns a Chick-fil-A in Florida. It allows its “employees to work the equivalent of a full 40-hour week in just three days, with four days off.”
“They might plan their life around it — they might plan vacations, childcare, school,” Lindsey said according to CBSNews.com. “I wanted them to be able to look out six months from now and know what days they were going to be working.”
If you are hesitant about this idea, I understand.
In broadcasting, for example, there are different sets of talent on the air during the week as opposed to the weekends.

I don’t know how something like this would change with a three-day work week, but it’s worth exploring as this experiment was more than successful in Florida.
This Chick-fil-A site has seen an influx of applications, employees have been able to return to their home countries, and some have even graduated while maintaining their full-time status.
Would working 14 hours a day three days in a row be too much?
Every time I have a day like this coming up, I have to mentally prepare for it.
But the nurses regularly work with this type of schedule and they seem to be doing very well.
I’ve seen headlines about companies even moving to a 4 day work week and productivity skyrocketed.

For example, a brewery in the UK shortened their work week and they saw insane results.
We work to live. We don’t live to work and that’s something that I think has kind of fallen by the wayside.
