Technology sales veteran Lawrence Raynes has joined Fortinet as a key account manager for the state government.
Raynes, who has worked in IT sales for more than 20 years, joined Fortinet after successfully holding sales roles at Commvault and Enterprise Networking Solutions (now Optm), primarily focused on the California state government.
“I’m very happy to be at Fortinet,” Raynes said. Techwire. “Fortinet’s portfolio offers the largest cybersecurity offerings supporting some of the largest agencies in the state.”
Raynes, who has resided in the Sacramento area since 2017, is a New York native who came to California in 1998.
In his LinkedIn profile, he cites his “experience managing enterprise accounts with ongoing training, team building activities, and supporting current infrastructure investments.”
Raynes received his Associate of Commerce degree from Suffolk County Community College.
