Hibernian manager makes incredible Celtic admission

Going into the game, Celtic knew they were in the midst of terrible form, winning just two of their last seven games. Even more worrying was the fact that they struggled to find the back of the net. They had scored just six times in those seven matches – a statistic you wouldn’t associate with Ange Postecoglou’s side who scored goalless.
It’s safe to say the Bhoys found their goals against Hibernian, as they left Parkhead with a 6-1 win. James Forrest scored a hat-trick while Giorgos Giakoumakis got a brace. And Daizen Maeda has also put his name on the scoresheet, having come under heavy criticism for some of his recent performances.
Celtic fans are hoping the floodgates have opened and they will once again be the free-scoring team we know and love in the future.
Hibernian manager Lee Johnson appears to have been very impressed with what he has seen from Celtic players. As reported by the Daily Record, he said speaking to the media after the game:
“I think the lessons you can learn from this are important. The detail and the standards.
“I look at the Japanese players and I’m like ‘wow, you’re so dynamic, your squat, you’re powerful and athletic.’ please tell me what you are doing.
“Please tell me what you do every day. How do you wake up, what do you eat for breakfast? How do you stretch, go to the gym for three hours, and what weights do you do?

Hibernian actually entered the game on a high. They were third in the points table. On the other hand, Celtic was on a bad run.
So, many people believed that Hibernian could actually get something out of this game if he played his best.
It would be safe to say that Celtic managed to get Hibs off the pitch on Saturday and showed the gap that exists between these two sides. Now, it remains to be seen if they are indeed back to their best, or if this was a once-in-a-lifetime performance.
