Responsibilities
- Responsible for articulating and communicating the client’s vision, goals and objectives by leading the development and documentation of the interior design of the project.
- Collaborate with internal team members, other disciplines, consultants, and vendors to align interior environments with the exterior for a unified, cohesive design.
- Research materials and concepts and use in-depth product knowledge to develop a solid portfolio of projects. Work with the design team on technical issues influencing the development of the interior design concept.
- Responsible for Revit documentation for all project elements related to interior design including joinery, walls, ceilings, floors, etc.). Coordinate the project team for finishing plans, specifications and selections of materials required for construction.
- Manage the implementation, coordination and installation of interior design concepts on time and within budget.
- Participate in client presentations and project meetings, preparing presentation material to communicate these concepts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in interior design, interior architecture or architecture required.
- Three or more years of recent and relevant interior design experience required. Experience in an architectural or interior design firm and / or experience in one of Flad’s market segments preferably.
- Beginner Revit knowledge required; have at least one year of recent Revit experience in an academic or professional setting. Understands how Revit works, but may not have completed a project from start to finish. Made changes to designs, etc. existing. Intermediate knowledge of Revit preferred.
- Proficiency in Rhino or Sketch Up and 3D rendering software required. Experience with Lumion and Enscape preferred.
- Professional registration, NCIDQ certification, and sustainability accreditation preferred.
