NEW EMPLOYEES
Marie-Alice Scott
Marie-Alice Scott joined the Maine Association of Nonprofits as public affairs officer. Scott, of Portland, previously served as executive director of Portland Buy Local for four years.
Lawyers Robert E. Mittel and Scott Dolan joined Portland law firm Petruccelli, Martin & Haddow LLP.

Robert E. Mittel
Mittel, formerly of Portland law firm MittelAsen LLC, which closed in December, joined as an “advisor,” meaning he works with the firm but is not a partner or partner . He brings to the firm extensive experience in intellectual property and commercial litigation.

Scott Dolan
Dolan, who also worked with MittelAsen, joined the firm as a partner. He represents a wide range of individuals and businesses in civil and appellate litigation, successful business development and problem solving, and intellectual property. Dolan is a former Press Herald reporter.

Tempe Landi
Tempe Landi joined Coastal Mountains Land Trust as Development and Communications Coordinator. Landi, of Lincolnville, brings experience in various fundraising capacities, most recently at Skidmore College in New York.

Lisa Hughes
Maine Community Bank has hired Lisa Hughes as Vice President, Chief Corporate Banking Officer. Hughes comes to the bank with over 20 years of experience, most recently as a corporate credit manager.

Sherelle Riquinha
Sherelle Riquinha joined Kennebunk Savings as branch manager in Berwick. Riquinha brings experience in retail training management and the US military.

Melissa Gilpatrick
Melissa Gilpatrick joined Kennebunk Savings as branch manager in North Berwick. Gilpatrick has two decades of management experience.
PROMOTIONS
Diversified Communications, a Portland-based international media company, announced the following nine promotions:

Lindsey Room
Lindsey Room was promoted to Senior Enrollment Coordinator. She joined the firm in 2019 as Enrollment Coordinator.

Kelsey Philbrick
Kelsey Philbrick was promoted to digital solutions specialist. Philbrick joined the firm in 2019. She was previously a digital content coordinator.

David Fournier
David Fournier was promoted to director of infrastructure and security. He joined the firm in 2020 and previously held the same manager position.

Kelcey George
Kelcey George was promoted to Senior Marketing Coordinator within the Seafood/Healthcare Group. George joined the company in 2018 and was previously Marketing Coordinator.

Casey Descoteaux
Casey Descoteaux was promoted to database analyst in the data team. Descoteaux had held the position of junior database analyst. He joined the firm in 2019.

Casey Reynolds
Casey Reynolds was promoted to sales manager within the technical team. Reynolds was an account executive. He joined the firm in 2016.
Julie Roopenian was promoted to Senior Conference Coordinator within the BCOM team. Roopenian joined the firm in 2018 and was previously events coordinator.
Lynn Maziarz was promoted to Digital Marketing Specialist. Maziarz joined the firm in 2006 and previously served as digital marketing coordinator.
Simone Verria was promoted to Digital Marketing Specialist. Verria had held the position of digital marketing coordinator. She has been with the firm since 2019.
Preble Street has announced the following promotions: Jade Johnson was promoted to director of anti-trafficking services. Johnson was previously Anti-Trafficking Services Supervisor and has worked for Preble Street since 2019. Erin McBrady was promoted to Director of Community Case Management Services. Johnson and McBrady previously served as temporary quarantine and emergency shelter supervisors.

Misty Parker
Misty Parker was promoted to Deputy Director of Economic and Community Development for the City of Lewiston. Parker has worked for the city since 2014. His previous role was responsible for economic development.

Marie Müller
Marie Müller, a litigator with the Portland Verrill Law Firm, was elected a partner in the firm. Mueller is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Trial Group. His practice focuses on construction litigation, medical malpractice defense, probate litigation and other complex litigation.
BOARD APPOINTMENTS
Catholic Charities Maine announced the following changes and additions to its Board of Directors:

Lauren Moody
Lauren Moody was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors. Moody, of Auburn, is a parishioner at Prince of Peace Parish in Lewiston and is a minister of the Eucharist at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul.

Jared des Rosiers
Jared des Rosiers was appointed vice-chairman of the board of directors. He is a partner in the law firm Pierce Atwood LLP, lives in Falmouth and is a member of Holy Eucharist Parish.

Cindy Nickless
New board members include Cindy Nicklesswho is Chair of the Board of Maria Mater Dei Missions Inc. She served on the finance board of St. John Paul II Parish in Scarborough.

Deacon Darrell Blackwell
Deacon Darrell Blackwell, of Wells, also joined the board. Blackwell retired from active ministry at Holy Spirit Parish in Wells/Kennebunk in May 2021. He was named Deacon of the Year in 2018 by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland.
