Senior Online Education Designer Job with LA TROBE UNIVERSITY

- Located on the Melbourne campus (Bundoora)
- HEO8 – TRP $118,289 – $135,268 per year including 17% superannuation
About the position
Duties for this role will include, but not be limited to:
- Lead the design and provide schools with high quality, best practice online support for course and curriculum design.
- Manage the entire design process, coordinate and deliver high quality professional development in the area of pedagogy and online design.
- Manage a team of 6 online education designers.
- Work with the multimedia team to ensure online topics focus on student engagement, learning and success.
Skills and experience
To be considered for this position, you will need to;
- A degree with a substantial extension of relevant knowledge and skills through professional experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience. For academic appointment, demonstrated scholarship in the field.
- Demonstrated ability in effectively designing and delivering effective online education in the higher education environment to provide a rich student experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of a wide range of online teaching models and user-centered design practices, and their application in teaching contexts.
- Demonstrated ability to work quickly to solve problems, develop and implement effective and accountable plans for project delivery, and manage priorities in a matrix team environment.
